Abstract：Chinese architectural criticism presents variation in values due to the context evolution and discontinuity, which provides a basis to analyze and discuss the advancing program of Chinese architectural criticism in its own standpoint and respect, as well as the promoting effects to architectural theories and realization. The expression of architecture criticism from each side brings guiding promotion for architecture development. A full-developed criticism environment should be not only a smooth communication tunnel, but also an efficient system with top-to-bottom and bottom-to-top influence. Presently, a clear self-examination is the only way to break through the existing thinking frame and gain a new recognition on Chinese architectural features development in current complicated conflicts of the social development.
