Abstract:As a significant part of Chinese classical gardens, temple gardens play an important role in overall landscape construction and religious culture inheritance. As one of the top ten famous temples in Chinese history, Hanshan Temple has a long history of soundscape, but little research has been done on it. Therefore, in this article, the objective sound pressure level measurement and subjective questionnaire survey of Hanshan Temple are carried out, and the preference of each sound element, the whole situation of the sound pressure level and the correlation between subjective and objective data are analyzed. It finds that the sound pressure level is negatively correlated with the degree of human preference, and the flow of people has a great impact on the sound pressure level. This paper puts forward some suggestions such as overall noise reduction in the sound environment of Hanshan Temple, management of sound pressure level by area and the improvement of the soundscape perception with the identification system.
