Abstract:Urban life stress is a major factor that threatens human health, the living room is the main living space of urban residents, and its healing potential has an important impact on human health. The existing research on environmental health benefits has unclear understanding of health connotation and insufficient attention to the daily life space of Chinese urban residents. The results of the pre-experimental questionnaire shows that the most important healing factors for residents in the living room are interior design and windowscape. Therefore, this article discusses design experiments with virtual reality technology to explore the healing effects of the interior design of the living room and the windowscape on human health. Finally, the experimental results are explained by statistical methods, and suggestions for the design of urban human settlements in China are proposed.
