Research on Promotion Strategy of Daylighting Quality in Public Building Space: The Application of Advanced Glazing Systems and Materials in Public Buildings
Abstract：With the increasingly prominent contradiction between energy and the environment, daylighting has attracted people’s attention due to its energy-saving, highefficiency, and environmental protection. In recent years, on the basis of traditional daylighting technology, some advanced glazing systems and materials (AGSM) have been developed and gradually used in public building daylighting, which has significantly improved the daylighting quality in public building spaces. This paper introduces the principle of active and passive AGSM, such as daylight redirecting films glass, translucent material, automatic shading system and dynamic glass, and its application in building daylighting, and provides the basis and reference for the application of new daylighting technology in public buildings.
