Abstract：The establishment of the national-level new district is an excellent opportunity for a city and even a region to rapidly promote the vitality of the city and people’s happiness. Based on environmental behavioral psychology from the perspective of ecology, this paper puts forward the ecological development strategies of housing, transportation and recreation from the core structural elements in the functional structure of the northeast national-level new districts. The purpose of this study is to put forward the model and strategy of ecological development of northeast national-level new districts. The study provides theoretical innovation in current research. It will promote the ecological development of three national-level new districts. Moreover, it will provide a general guideline for other national-level new districts in China.
