Abstract：Based on the development strategy and future urban development spatial model of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, it is a proactive approach to research and design the close combination of “future”, “ocean”, and “city”, providing inspiration and guidance for future urban expansion into the ocean. The topic of the 2023 “Future Maritime Cities” International Graduate Joint Workshop is of great value and significance in designing and conceptualizing the Longxue Island sea area in Nansha, Guangzhou. Chongqing University has developed four problem-solving approaches, integrating elements such as marine science and innovation, marine human settlements, marine pastoral areas, marine energy, marine transportation, and marine ecology, aggregating technical means, and summarizing the possibilities of future development models and construction paths for marine cities from different perspectives. This is a bold exploration and attempt to explore new models and development prospects for future development and construction of marine cities.
