The Practice and Reflection on Taiwan Rural Residence under the Concept of Green Architecture: A Case Study of Permanent House of Zhulu Community in Chiayi County
Abstract：In order to reshape a new rural environment, Taiwan takes the post-disaster reconstruction of permanent housing as an opportunity to practice the concepts of green architecture in the rural area. Based on the case study of Zhulu Community in Chiayi County of Taiwan, this paper summarized the community planning of security, green, and environmental protection, and the architectural design of adaptable climate and local culture so as to enlighten and benefit the rural residence and community construction in mainland China.
