Correlation Characteristics between the Spatial Attraction of Small Towns and the Distribution of Public Service Facilities: A Case Study of H Town, Anhui Province
Abstract:This research focuses on the spatial allocation of public service facilities in small towns from the perspective of spatial attraction. Taking H Town in Anhui Province as an example, first of all , it divides the facilities into three categories according to the operating subjects and usage status: government-supported in operation facilities, self-operated in operation and idle facilities. The average nearest neighbor is used to analyze their aggregation characteristics and determine the degree of spatial attraction of those three facilities. Then the space syntax models are constructed by the homogeneous space of small towns and the heterogeneous space influenced by the people who use the facilities. Compared with the current situation, it is proposesd that the change of user path caused by facilities leads to the change of spatial attraction, and then affects the dynamic law of facility usage status. Finally, the study puts forward the idea of using the layout of facilities to promote the spatial vitality, in order to provide a theoretical basis for the spatial allocation method of public service facilities in small towns.
