Abstract：The hanging scenery in a garden comprises two forms of painting-like realistic scenery and various paintings, and there are two most common ways of hanging painting: the temporary one and the fixed one. The value of space is often benefited from the significance of hanging paintings, which has created a cultural field for “special displays”. Starting from hanging paintings in garden landscapes, by analyzing the identity of the viewers and the hanging space, hanging theme and form features, by interpreting the clues and methods of transforming paintings into real scenes, and by exploring the evolution logics of “garden landscape” following sites, places, scenes, and fields, it is sufficient to uncover a contextual clue related to garden landscape and painting transformation in spatial practices.
