Abstract:Based on the historical materials from Manchuria Architectural Journal, this study integrates relevant information about architectural education of the northeast China during the Japanese colonial period. It also through textual research investigates major arrangements, academic backgrounds of teachers and employment of students in the typical educational institutions. It meanwhile analyses major characteristic and social resources of these institutions. It will provide references to expand the study about Chinese modern architectural education history and modern transformation of architecture in the northeast cities in China.
