Abstract：Through studying the university and college dormitories in South China, this paper analyzes the types and models of dormitory spaces which would be more suitable for students to live and use. It mainly studies the dormitory size, layout, sanitary, models of dormitory space, and various combinations and their advantages and disadvantages in order to provide some references for future dormitory design in south China.
