Abstract：This article briefly defines the concept of the Light Tendency Architecture, and initially illustrates the evolution trend of the building to ‘light tendency’ from two aspects of its origin: the promotion of social development and ideological inspiration. On the basis of summarizing the characteristics of six typical visual features such as blanking and blurring, floating and smart, slim and whisper, the article puts forward four kinds of Light Tendency Architecture visual form design methods, namely hiding weight and showing lightness, mutualism of blankness and fullness, breaking up the whole into parts, light touching and flowing form. The concept of Light Tendency Architecture proposed in the paper, and its typical visual features and design methods, could provide inspirations for relevant design practices.
