Abstract：This paper investigates the characteristics of neighborhood communication, relationship between neighborhood communication and corridor space through studying correlations between corridor buildings and apartment buildings in Guangzhou Vanke Golden City with the methods of return visit and PSPL. The results show that unambiguous boundary, high accessibility and proper scale play important roles in improving the quality of neighborhood interaction. Moreover, semi-private living space near the center of side corridor space is also significant in such improvement.
