Abstract:In the next 10 to 20 years, with the progress and popularization of biofeedback technology, we will likely achieve sensory augmentation and intelligent augmentation. Our means of controlling the world is greatly expanded by the internet of things. These wearable devices and mobile terminals will revolutionize the way we interact with the environment. This paper starts with the technical advances in hardware and software such as wearable devices, bio-sensors, and affective computing, and introduces their new opportunities in environmental experience measurement and health benefits evaluation of green open space, as well as the technology innovation brought to environmental design. On the basis of this, the research progress of environmental awareness measurement and design decision support in the last four years is briefly introduced, including the influence of restorative environment on the cognitive level based on EEG measurement, the environmental affective map analysis based on autonomous neural feedback and emotional measurement, and other aspects of experimental preliminary conclusions.
