Abstract：“Bamboo Ｇarden” is a characteristic public space in the countryside of Chengdu, using modern bamboo structures to build family activity areas. It implants new functions into typical artificial environments that lack regional characteristics. We use “bamboo” as the natural material, and make different types of analyses and designs about modern roundrole bamboo structure from the perspective of tectonic theory. Also we try to develop it as an important constructional type for rural life, agriculture and landscape architecture.
