Abstract：This paper aims to investigate the community development from the viewpoint of welfare facilities and discuss the related design method based on case studies of a composite community-based welfare facility for the elderly, a mixed community-based welfare facility and a sharing active community. The methods of the above three case studies could be helpful to improve the quality of community development in our country.
