Abstract：This paper puts forward the idea that the traditional university campus landscape renovation planning and deign should be associated with the precondition of the contemporary consciousness of innovation, whilst not denying history and tradition, but respecting nature and following the principle of historical spatial patterns. The designer should not be impetuous, absurd and show off just form but also function, where form should follow function and culture.
