Research on the Relationship Between Aggregation of Traditional Settlement and Farming Space Radius: A Case Study of Four Villages of Xiangxi Minority Regions
Abstract：In the context of rapid urbanization, rural settlements have been consolidated. From the perspective of the resource of land farming radius, based on the circumference of the theoretical model, and with quantified calculation through mathematical formulas, this article makes empirical study on four villages of Xiangxi minority regions. It reveals a positive correlation between the aggregation degree of rural settlements and the land farming radius, that is, the larger the farming radius, the more concentrated of the settlement; and the smaller the farming radius, the more dispersed of the settlement. The goal of this research is to provide some references for the construction of rural settlements.
