Abstract：Modern architectural heritage, which witnesses the modernization of human society, is indispensable to the historical and cultural heritage. From a combined perspective of history, culture, society and urban architecture, this paper explores the construction background and historical evolution of Rome Termini Station, provides a comprehensive understanding and fundamental knowledge of its cultural significance and contemporary values. In addition, the paper analyzes the impacts of urban history and social culture on the forming of heritage values of Rome Termini Station, and indicates that the identification and assessment criteria for modern heritage requires a multidimensional exploration.
