Abstract:Based on GIS spatial analysis, this paper makes a case study on the northern Ming Dynasty military defense system, and comprehensively analyzes its spatial layout, distance planning and the relationships with the Great Wall military defense system. This study shows that the information-delivery system joins together many core elements of the Great Wall defense system, and establishes a multilayer alarm network with intimate and complex systematic
